What Solo Mode gives you

All maps, playable by yourself and offline.

What it withholds

Progression is paused while playing solo. You earn no XP and no Credits, so a Responder played only in Solo Mode never levels. Torn Banner framed this explicitly as a training mode, not a single-player progression path.

When to use it

Before your first online run, to learn the objective flow.
When you want to learn a new map without staking a leveled character.
When matchmaking is empty at off-peak hours and you still want to play.
