No More Room in Hell 2 at a glance

Welcome to the wiki

No More Room in Hell 2 is an eight-player cooperative zombie survival shooter from Torn Banner Studios, the team behind Chivalry 2 — and the sequel to the original No More Room in Hell, which began life as a free Source mod. It started Early Access on October 31, 2024 and shipped its v1.0 “Armageddon” release on August 11, 2026 across PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S with full crossplay.

The design is built around scarcity and consequences. Ammo is limited, inventory is tight, infection is a timer, and most deaths are permanent: when a Responder dies, that character is gone. Communication and squad discipline matter more than aim.

Survival wiki checklist

Before your first run

  1. Play Solo Mode or Beginner first. Learn the loop without risking a leveled Responder.
  2. Treat melee as your default weapon. Guns are loud, and loud calls more zombies.
  3. Watch your infection meter after every fight. If it starts, you're racing a timer, not a suggestion.
  4. Extract with the squad. The mission is getting out alive, not clearing the map.

How this wiki is maintained

Source-checked, clearly labeled, regularly updated.

This independent wiki separates official facts from third-party reporting and open questions. Release, price, platform, crossplay and system-requirement claims are checked against nmrih2.com, Steam, Epic, PlayStation and Xbox sources. Live data — player counts, discounts, current balance — carries a timestamp so you know when it was verified.
