No More Room in Hell 2 Maps & Modes: Objective & Survival

Objective codes are map-specific and change with the mission state. Don't trust a static code list from an old post — read the in-game prompt and call it out to the squad.

Objective maps (Scenario mode)

Scenario is the core co-op mode: complete a chain of objectives, then extract. Six maps are in the 1.0 rotation:

  • Lewiston — the Early Access starting map.
  • Power Plant — industrial map with generator-style objectives.
  • Pottsville — the coal-town map added during Early Access.
  • Broadway — urban map from the 0.5.0-era update.
  • Beaulieu Hospital — hospital map with patient-data and decontamination objectives.
  • Raven Rock — new for 1.0: an underground military bunker where the squad extracts the facility's director.

Map-by-map notes (1.0)

  • Lewiston — the classic Early Access start. Expect the diner holdout early and downtown street routes later; it's the map most players learn first.
  • Power Plant — a long objective chain. The current main route runs Security Overrides → West Gate → Cooling Tower → Ash Farm → Stacker Reclaimer → Extraction, and siren prompts mean heading back to a console to enter a code from the codebook.
  • Pottsville — coal-town map with residential and community-center objectives; hotfix history shows objective areas can glitch, so keep the squad together when an objective doesn't advance.
  • Broadway — added in 0.5.0, built for speed and pressure: city streets, subway tunnels and Queens' sewer system. Coordination beats firepower here.
  • Beaulieu Hospital — a patient-data and tissue-sample chain through wards, freezer and decon truck, ending in a courtyard extraction. Randomized ward layouts mean the codes change every run.
  • Raven Rock — the 1.0 closer: a southern Pennsylvania underground military bunker where the objective is extracting the facility's director through the facility.

Survival mode (new in 1.0)

Survival is wave-defense: protect speakers against zombie hordes in five-minute waves, survive three waves, then extract. Its three maps each have three points of interest with variation between runs. Mechanics to plan around:

  • Flooded — an industrial water-damaged zone.
  • Lighthouse — a vertical map built around the lighthouse.
  • Night of the Living Dead — a farmhouse siege inspired by the classic film.
  • Each speaker defense lasts five minutes; three successful waves unlock extraction.
  • Fail two speaker waves and an early extraction option opens — the run doesn't just collapse, but the squad bails with less reward.
  • Defending a speaker is the priority; a grenade used to save a speaker beats a grenade carried to the extraction zone.

Codes, keypads and lockdowns

Objectives on maps like Beaulieu Hospital and Power Plant use keypad codes and lockdown prompts. These are generated per run and can depend on the mission state — a code list from an old post goes stale. Read the in-game prompt, have one player call it out while the squad holds the room, and solve the current objective.

What's still unconfirmed

Torn Banner said zombie children would not be part of the 1.0 launch, and no post-1.0 map roadmap has been published. Treat any "next map" rumors as unconfirmed.
