Crossplay is one shared player pool, not per-platform toggles. If you're on PC, you can be matched with console players by default.

Full crossplay was a launch pillar of 1.0, not a post-launch feature — Torn Banner confirmed that PC, PlayStation and Xbox share one matchmaking pool, so an 8-player squad can mix any combination of platforms.
Inviting friends across platforms
Community guides describe a party system built on in-game friend codes: share your friend code, add the other player, then invite them from the lobby party panel. These guides were written during Early Access, but the 1.0 party flow follows the same system. Treat exact menu wording as reported until verified in your build.
- Your friend code is found in the lobby — check the party panel in the bottom-right of the screen.
- Add the player with their code, then select their name and choose Invite.
- Up to 8 players share one squad.
Cross-save and cross-progression
Not supported. Responders, Credits and account progress stay on the platform where you earned them. Torn Banner has not announced cross-progression, so treat platform progress as locked to that account.
What is still unconfirmed
- Disabling crossplay: no official toggle has been documented. Assume matchmaking is crossplay-only.
- Keyboard & mouse on console: 1.0 added native controller support on PC, but official keyboard-and-mouse support on PS5/Xbox is not documented.
- Cross-save: no cross-progression announced; see above.
